Project Description

Realizing the condition of their athletic fields at various schools, the Brandywine School District selected Duffield Associates to gather information on more than 45 athletic fields at 8 different middle and high schools throughout the District.  The purpose of the evaluation was to document existing conditions, determine rehabilitation requirements and cost estimates, and prioritize the order of mitigation projects.  This included interfacing with athletic directors and grounds keepers at each of the schools.  In addition, maintenance programs for the fields at the schools were evaluated and cost estimates were prepared for future maintenance requirements.  This information was compiled into a summary report and utilized by the District to obtain funding for future rehabilitation and maintenance.
