POSITION: Structural Engineer

OFFICE: Wilmington, Delaware

POSITION DESCRIPTION:
Consulting geosciences firm seeks degreed, structural engineer with 5 to 10 years experience for Wilmington, DE location. Responsibilities include design and analysis of structural systems, components in concrete, masonry, steel, and timber; preparation of design drawings and specifications; field review of construction projects and project management.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Must possess degree in civil/structural engineering and PE license. Computer literate, working knowledge of structural engineering software and AutoCad, and good written/oral communications skills a must. Qualified candidate must be able to work well with clients, suppliers, and contractors, and have potential client relationships in place. Preferred candidate will have experience with building engineering and restoration or coastal engineering.

PREFERRED EDUCATION:
BS in Civil Engineering and EIT certification required. Graduate degree a plus.
