Bank of America is coming to Greenville, Christiana Hundred! We recently met with the owners and developers to receive a briefing on an exciting redevelopment project at that location. Bank of America has chosen the site at 3816 Kennett Pike to build a "key" retail branch in Delaware.

The bank will be prominently located at 3816 Kennett Pike, on the existing intersection opposite Buck Road and adjacent to the Powder Mill Square Center. The existing BP Gasoline Service Station will be removed and replaced with a 3,000 square foot branch bank with two drive-in banking lanes. Bank of America designs energy-efficient buildings and has selected this site to construct a LEED certified building. Through the redevelopment of this site, landscaping will be increased and impervious coverage will be reduced. Stormwater quality best management practices will be implemented on site within the project area.

The bank will have a brick exterior; elevations of the proposed bank and a proposed site layout are available in PDF format below.

Final plan approvals are expected later this fall and construction is expected to commence shortly thereafter.
