Guy Marcozzi, P.E., President, was selected by the Delaware Engineering Society as the 2012 Delaware Engineer of the Year! The engineer selected each year for this honor must be a technically strong, well recognized engineer, who has made contributions to the engineer-ing community and to society beyond that required by their professional employment. Marine Lubricants is located along the Christina River. The firm’s vessels supply specialized lubricants and fuels to cargo ships plying the Delaware River. The owners of the facility observed cracking and settlement in the pavement behind the wharf. The situation became dire when a section of the existing bulkhead and loading dock, approximately 80’ by 40’ deep, collapsed into the river bringing operations to a standstill. More... |
